This project was a renovation of a 1970s single-family home in Barra de Guaratiba, Rio de Janeiro. While the original architectural design was done by a previous architect, the client asked me to completely rework the interior layout to better meet their needs.

On the exterior, I preserved the primary volumes of the house, maintaining its original form while updating it with new cladding materials and redesigned lighting to give it a contemporary expression. I also worked on the full renovation of the swimming pool and designed the surrounding pool area to create a more cohesive and functional outdoor space.

Additionally, the large master bedroom upstairs was developed as a proposal to give purpose to an empty, underutilized area on the upper floor. Ultimately, I managed the entire transformation of this residence, bringing new life to the home while respecting its original framework.
