Larosiere Residence

New Construction

This 14,000-square-foot residence in Delray Beach, Florida, was designed by architect Ron Rickert, with my involvement as the drafter responsible for the Construction Documents and 3D visualizations.

The house follows a contemporary language defined by strong horizontal lines, clean geometries, and interlocking volumes. Flat roof planes with extended overhangs reinforce proportion and shade, while the façade combines smooth stucco, large-format stone, and darker base volumes. Recessed ground levels and projecting upper volumes create depth and a sense of lightness.

A central double-height recessed entry establishes the main axis of the house and frames views toward the exterior. The layout was organized to maintain a constant visual connection to the pool, with main living areas oriented toward the water and large sliding glass openings dissolving the boundary between inside and outside.

The outdoor spaces extend the architecture, with a covered terrace, outdoor kitchen, and lounge areas aligned with the interior. The pool acts as a central element, visible from multiple points and reinforcing continuity between architecture, landscape, and daily living.
